Ashley Rhoney

Ashley was the North Carolina junior state champion for 5 consecutive years 1980-1984. In 1984 won the national Interscholastic Championship and was voted an All American at South Caldwell High School in Hudson, NC. In1984 he was invited to the US Olympic tryouts and won the Surfmarc Singles Title in 1986. 1987-1988 was a two time All American at USL holding the No.1 national doubles ranking during the 1988 season. Played professionally and held singles and doubles world rankings. Ashley was the Head Pro at Red Lerelle's Health Club from 1990-1997 focusing on junior development coaching over 25 state champions including Chanda Rubin and Jordan Daigle. Ashley is certified United States Professional Tennis Registry and served on the Board of Directors for 3 years of the Louisiana Tennis Association. Ashley has been the Director of Tennis at City Club since its inception in the summer of 2001.

Brian Sullivan

Title

Head Tennis Pro

Brian achieved a #1 ranking in the state of Colorado in the 14’s and was ranked in the top 14’s-18’s, playing in all of the biggest National tournaments. While in high school in Englewood, CO he won 4 state titles and was the first player to attain a 76-0 record. He was a high school All-American his junior and senior years. Brian then played D1 tennis at UC Irvine and Arizona State University. He was a Captain for Arizona State University eventually becoming the Assistant Coach. He got a taste of tennis fame by playing against some of the greats along the way in particular including John McEnroe at Kalamazoo, MI. He held roles as Assistant General Manager, Tennis Director and Academy Director at clubs and academies in Denver, Lakewood and Boulder. After being a teaching pro at City Club (2009-2010) he took his turn at collegiate coaching at West Virginia State, the University of Wisconsin and the University of the Pacific as Assistant Coach.

Chase Rhoney

Chase Rhoney was born and raised in Lafayette Louisiana. He was formerly ranked number 1 in the state in singles and doubles as a junior coached by Ashley Rhoney.Chase is an experienced Teaching Pro at City Park New Orleans working with the New Orleans Youth Tennis Association and has received USPTA training. Chase does all stringing for City Club and is available to advise players on how to equip their racquets. He is the official Rep for Solinco. Chase has been a teaching pro since 2015 and is available to teach at all ages and skill levels.

Kirk Harrison

Kirk is a USPTA Certified Tennis Professional who has been playing tennis for over thirty years. Kirk grew up playing racquetball where he later won a college championship at the Citadel. While in the military he continued to play, advancing to the third round of the Zurich Open. After switching to tennis, his career included fifteen years as a Tennis Umpire, peaking with three US Opens and being selected for the Men's Doubles Final. He is an innovative and dedicated teaching professional able to instruct at all levels.

Dominique LaPorte

Dom is USPTA Certified and has been coached in the Guatemalan Tennis National Federation. He competed at CONTECA (Central America Tennis Conference) for Guatemala and competed in all of the National Ranking Tournaments finishing in the top 10.

Bill Phillips

Bill is a past President of the USPTA Southern Division and USPTA Louisiana. He is a longtime USTA National on-court trainer. He is a USPTA Elite Professional, PTR Professional - Adult, 11-17, 10 and Under, Wheelchair; on the USTA Early Development National Faculty; a USTA High Performance Coach; and Cardio Tennis National Speakers Team. He has many awards to his name including: USTA National On-Court Trainer of the Year 2013; USTA Louisiana 2-time President’s Award; USPTA Southern Alan Henry Pro of the Year 2005; USPTA Louisiana 2-time Pro of the Year; USPTA Southern Division Hall of Fame 2017.

Chad Hebert

Chad has many awards to his name including: Louisiana Tennis Pro of the Year (2 times) and National College Coach of the Year with Troy State University. He is a state Champion High School Coach with Saint Thomas More 2014 and past Head Tennis Coach for UL Lafayette. Chad was the Head Tennis Pro for the City Club at River Ranch for 14 years. He works with all levels and abilities and provides the value of fun while at the same time learning and improving your game.
