With all the services and amenities we offer, by far one of our most rewarding is the focus we place on families with children. From health and fitness to kid friendly dining to special events, our members know their children will always be taken care of.
City Club offers you an extensive list of Youth targeted training and counsesling. For summers and holidays we offer sports, tennis and fitness camps. In addition to camps, we offer strength & conditioning training, cardiovascular training, obesity counseling/training, and cheer clinics. Football and wrestling camps are just a couple of programs in the works to offer you soon.
Kids' Club Instructors:
Jessica Landry Education: Bachelor of Arts in Dance Choreography and Business Administration; Masters in Education; Certifications: St. Martin Parish - Regional and State Finalist for Louisiana Teacher of the Year; Louisiana Health, Physical Educational, Recreation, and Dance National Teacher of the Year. Experience: 13 years as a Fitness Practitioner with specialty programming including all special populations; organized youth fitness programming for 13 years; principal of The Early Learning Center in St. Martin Parish; mother of 2.
Tara Owens Certifications: Personal training, group exercise, aqua fitness & sports nutrition. Experience: 16 years experience in fitness industry, experience with special segments: Youth fitness, orthopedic problems and obesity.
Joe Robinson Certifications: Youth Fitness Training, indoor cycling, aquatics, senior fitness and Pilates. Experience: 32 years experience as a special education teacher; 30 years in fitness industry.

Youth Fitness Class Descriptions
KIDZPOWER (Ages 7-13): A unique children's fitness program conducted in the Kid's Club gym at the City Club. It is taught by dynamic instructors with age appropriate equipment, music and motivation/education every step of the way! Cardio, strength training, yoga, pilates, crazy obstacle courses and lots of other fun!
PROJECT FIT OBSTACLE COURSE: Freestanding structure of seven workout areas, including: pole climb, vault bar, horizontal ladder, sit-up station, step test station, parallel bars and pull-up bar. Great for all ages.
KINDERFIT (Ages 4-6): Incorporates fun-filled fitness experiences using a variety of props and music.
MIND&BODY: Designed for children that want to experience Pilates and Yoga.
TWEEN FIT: Tweens will work on improving agility, balance, and coordination. Participants will stay active and have fun under the direction of our experienced fitness team.
Youth Fitness classes are a great way for kids to be energetic and have fun! All youth classes are 45 minutes long and held in the Kids' Club.
