With all the services and amenities we offer, by far one of our most rewarding is the focus we place on families with children. From health and fitness to kid friendly dining to special events, our members know their children will always be taken care of.
City Club offers you an extensive list of Youth targeted training and counsesling. For summers and holidays we offer sports, tennis and fitness camps. In addition to camps, we offer strength & conditioning training, cardiovascular training, obesity counseling/training, and cheer clinics. Football and wrestling camps are just a couple of programs in the works to offer you soon.

We are pleased to announce that City Club now offers a variety of programs for your children. After school programs in the group exercise classroom, aqua fitness classes, and City Club's Kids' Club are a few of the attractions we are now offering for various age groups. Please contact our information hub (406-CLUB) for more information on these events.
Our Fun Zone nursery will also regularly be engaged in arts, crafts, face painting, health education, and more! See our monthly calendar of events! Let our professional, responsible staff care for your child as you enjoy fitness, recreation, or dining experiences.

- In an effort to provide a safe, sanitary, and educational environment for your child, the following policies (some of which are newly designed), have been established:
- Please provide necessary diapers, pull-ups, and wipes. Clearly label all bags, bottles, and pacifiers
- Please make arrangements to feed your child before visiting the childcare.
- No outside food except infant formula shall be allowed into the childcare area. City Club will provide scheduled snacks that are age appropriate and hypoallergenic. (We have several children with allergies, including but not limited to life-threatening peanut allergies).
- NO PEANUT PRODUCTS will be present in the childcare area and your child's medical history card shall be pulled upon each arrival to alert us of any food allergy.
- Dangerous toys such as balloons, sharp objects, or small toys are not allowed
- Mode of discipline utilized is as follows
- Verbal warning with explanation of desired behavior
- Time out
- Parent contact (only if child is continuously disruptive or causing harm to others.)
All children must be in good health. Please do not bring your child with a cloudy, runny nose, a congested cough, a temperature, head lice or diarrhea.
The City Club at River Ranch childcare center provides quality care for your children while you enjoy the Club facilities. Although the state of Louisiana does not require us to carry a license, we do follow guidelines that are regulated by the Department of Human Services. In our care, emphasis is placed on safety, having fun, and creativity. The childcare center coordinator has a degree in childcare education and all employees are CPR certified.
Fees: $5.00 per hour - first child l $2.50 per hour - each additional child
Ages: 6 weeks up to 9 years
Rules of Use:
- Maximum 2-hour time limit per day.
- Reservations are encouraged for all children, due to space limitations.
- Parents of children 6 weeks to 18 months MUST make reservations 24 hours in advance.
- You must sign your child in and out of the nursery on each visit with the appropriate name, member number, time, and your location in the Club.
- Cancellations must be made 2 hours prior to the reserved time. There will be a $10 no show fee for failure to cancel your reservations.
- A charge of $5 per 30 minute interval will be charged for children not picked up by closing.
- Please fill out the personal information form in order to acquaint us with your child.
- No outside food or beverages are allowed, except for baby bottles. Juice, water and a small snack will be provided.
- Please feed your child before bringing him/her to the nursery.
- Unless prior arrangements have been made, children will not be allowed to leave the nursery with anyone other than their parent. No child will be released to anyone other than the parent or predetermined designee.
- Parents are not allowed to leave the premises while their child is in the care of the nursery.
Please do not bring your child to the nursery if he or she exhibits any of the following symptoms or illness:
- Fever within a 24 hour period
- Constant cough
- Heavy nasal discharge
- Diarrhea or upset stomach
- Rash
- Eye discharge
- We reserve the right to refuse admittance to any child that is sick or shows any sign of illness.
- Items that must be provided to the nursery staff for care:
- Already prepared plastic bottles
- Pacifier
- Powder/Ointment
- Change of clothes
- Disposable diapers
- Security item, if applicable
