General Catering Information
Thank you for hosting your event at the City Club at River Ranch. Please take a moment to read the information provided. If you have any questions please call Alyson Haymark at 337.216.6521 or email at:

Food and Beverage:
All food and beverages must be purchased and prepared by City Club personnel. (Cake is the only exception).

Menu Planning and Selection:
To enable us to provide excellent service, all parties of 20 or more must select from a set menu. Also, the City Club highly recommends that all parties choose one entrée per function. When a host desires more than the recommended entrée we would like to suggest a combination plate be offered to ease the flow of, and to ensure proper service.

  • All parties of 20 or more must have pre-arranged menus.
  • Parties up to 30 people may use a limited menu consisting of (up to 4) items from the ala carte lunch or dinner menu.
  • On parties up to 100 people, a choice of up to two entrees will be permitted, provided the host gives the exact number of the entrée to be served at least one week in advance of the event.
  • Identification in the form of color-coded place cards or some other method must be provided by the host so that the wait staff can serve properly and without delays.
  • Parties over 100 people, a set menu must be established.
  • When choices are offered, the exact number of each entrée must be prepared in advance. Therefore, the host will be charged for that count plus any last minute changes.

Count:
The guaranteed number of participants is required 72 hours prior to your function. Once final guarantees are given the count may increase, but not decrease. The number of participants guaranteed prior to the event is the number that will be prepared and charged for. In the event that the attendance exceeds the guaranteed number of guests, additional guests will be charged and there may be a delay in the serving of these additional meals.

Cancellation Policy:
Any cancellation less than 72 hours before the event will be responsible for the guaranteed number guests and the pricing based on the function sheet.

Deposits and Contracts:
The club requires a deposit and signed contract to secure space for events of 30 or more.

All deposits are non-refundable. The date for your event is not guaranteed until City Club receives a deposit and signed contract. The deposit structure is as follows:

Personal Property:
The City Club does not have space available to store personal property, equipment, or supplies belonging to, or rented by, the member. All such items must be removed from the club at the end of the function. The City Club will not assume or accept responsibility for damage to, or loss of, property, articles or rented equipment left in the club prior to, during, or following any function.

Room charge:
Please inquire about our minimum requirements in food and beverage purchases for our private dining facilities. If minimums are not met, a fee will be charged to reach the required amount

For visitors staying overnight, make their reservations at the Carriage House Suites by calling 769.8400. Members enjoy preferred rates.
